Ernie Wakely played two games in a Canadien uniform, but those games were six years apart.

The first was on October 13, 1962, when he filled in for Jacques Plante, who had developed an infectious allergy. Wakely helped the Habs beat the Rangers 6-3. His next opportunity came in 1968, when he allowed four goals and the Canadiens lost the game.
