Hab Goalies
The Canadiens were scheduled to play the Leafs on October 30, 1957. Just before the game, Jacques Plante suffered a serious asthma attack, so the Habs called in Len Broderick, who was playing with the Toronto Marlboros at the time. Broderick allowed just two goals in a 6-2 victory for the Canadiens, but it was to be the Only NHL game of his career.
